"American Gangster" = LOVE

Just... just, a really good movie. And, yes, I loved the soundtrack as much as I suspected I would from the preview. Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington were love. The cute little old lady who played Frank Lucas's mother was love. The entire story was love.

Not, I suspect, for those who don't deal well with violence and needles. Nggh. No, I don't like needles. But I still loved this movie. I'm going to buy the soundtrack.

On a completely different note, comics from the 20s are also love. I wonder if there's a collection of Ethel Hays flapper girl comics?

Oh I wanna see that movie but I can't picture most of my peeps getting down with it....so many cool people in that movie! And I bet the album Jay-Z did based on it is delightful too. :)
